Terms (Rev. 11/1/2021)
1. You are responsible for shipping me all of your parts and paying for shipping and return shipping.
2. You pay Square/Paypal fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
3. I will ship items back in the condition they were received and in their original packaging. I am not responsible for damages or losses during shipping/handling, etc. If parts arrive in multiple packages, multiple shipments to the client may be needed. ALL shipping fees are to be covered by the client. This includes costs of any additional packaging items needed to ship the completed commission.
4. Local pickup and dropoff is not available due to COVID-19.
5. Lead time is approximately 7 days from receipt of parts, subject to change. Check my Trello for the most updated status on your commission.
6. I reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee if your keyboard is excessively dirty and I have to clean it to proceed with services.
7. Invoices for all parts and service costs will be issued prior to the start of the service. Invoices for return shipping will be issued once the service is complete. Failure to pay the first invoice within 7 days of it being issued will result in cancellation, and failure to pay the second invoice within 7 days of it being issued will result in a dispute being filed with Square/Paypal. Reimbursements for parts are due 3 days after the reimbursement invoice is sent.
8. I am not responsible for any damages or services for your items 7 days after you receive your commission, including firmware assistance.
9. I am not able to purchase parts aside from stabilizers and switches for clients as I cannot be held liable for warranty and servicing. Any items purchased from r/mechmarket or any other aftermarket will have to be shipped to you directly before being shipped to me.
10. Commission cancellation refunds are subject to the 2.9% + $0.30 Square/Paypal fee. Cancellations made 7 days after payment of the first invoice will invoke a 5% cancellation fee along with Square/Paypal fees, costs for parts purchased for your service, and return shipping for any items to be returned. No refunds are accepted for parts ordered on your behalf.
11. I am not responsible for any added fees that result from the client sending incorrect parts, failing to send required items to complete the commission, and other circumstances out of my control.
